US Census boundaries, as GeoParquet
TIGER/Line 2026, starting with the districts of the November elections
The Census Bureau publishes its TIGER/Line boundaries as national GeoPackages, several hundred megabytes each, to download before you can ask anything. Here they are as GeoParquet you query from a URL, one file per layer, with map tiles beside them. The first release is the legislative areas: every congressional district of the 120th Congress and every state legislative district.
Columns and codes are the Census Bureau's, unchanged, so they join with every other Census table. Public domain, like the source.
The districts on the ballot
Pick a chamber, then click a district. Colours only tell neighbours apart. Compare with 2024 shows what was redrawn since the last election: changed districts shaded by how much of the 2024 district they kept, the 2024 lines dashed on top. The map draws the PMTiles published beside the GeoParquet: nothing here runs on a server.
Redrawn since 2024.
Check your ballot with your state. These are the boundaries the Census Bureau recorded for the 120th Congress and the 2026 state legislative session year, in TIGER/Line 2026. A plan redrawn by a legislature or a court after that is not in them, and the Census Bureau's boundaries serve statistics, not legal descriptions. Your state election office has the districts on your ballot.
Districts per state
As a table
| State | Districts |
|---|
Click a state to zoom the map to it. On the U.S. House view, an outlined state votes on a different congressional map than in 2024. Nebraska elects a single, unicameral legislature, so it has no State House districts; the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico appear where the Census Bureau maps them.

Each file carries TIGER's columns (STATEFP, GEOID, NAMELSAD, ALAND, AWATER and the rest), the geometry in NAD83 (EPSG:4269, geographic: longitude and latitude) and a bbox column declared as the GeoParquet covering. Rows are sorted on a Hilbert curve, so a point lookup reads one small row group, not the whole country.

More of TIGER/Line
The Census Bureau publishes twelve national GeoPackages for 2026, from rails to census blocks. The legislative areas are the first; the others follow under the same layout, census/tiger/2026/<product>/<layer>.parquet, in the same catalog.
